These terms apply to the use of this website and to quotations and work provided by Flowteck Roofing & Property Maintenance. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Quotations
Quotations are free and carry no obligation. A quotation is based on the information available at the time, including any photographs supplied and what can reasonably be seen during an inspection. Where hidden defects are discovered once work begins — for example decayed timber beneath a roof covering — we will stop, explain the position and agree any additional cost with you before continuing.
Acceptance and scheduling
Work is scheduled once a quotation has been accepted. Roofing work depends on weather and safe working conditions, so dates may need to move. We will keep you informed if that happens.
Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the property and to tell us about anything relevant that is not obvious, such as fragile structures, concealed services or restrictions on parking or scaffolding.
Payment
Payment terms are set out on the quotation. For larger works a staged payment schedule may apply. Materials specially ordered for a job may require payment in advance.
Guarantees
Guarantee periods, where offered, are stated in writing on the quotation and relate to workmanship on the work carried out. Guarantees do not cover storm damage, third-party interference, failure of other parts of the property, or lack of routine maintenance such as gutter clearing.
Cancellation
Where the contract is agreed away from our business premises you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for work already carried out and materials already supplied.
Complaints
If something is not right, contact us first by phone or WhatsApp message on 07444 801369, or through the contact form on this website. We would always rather put a problem right than have a customer left unhappy.
